I received a baby dogwood tree and I know that they eventually get really big. I'm at a loss as to where on my small property I could plant it. I was also thinking about taking it to the nature trail and planting in there somewhere but I'm not sure how much light it needs. I have absolutely zero experience with trees and have no idea what to do with this but I want to do something other than just let it die.

Dont throw it away .......I could take it off your hands..

my neighbors dogwood tree is on the South side of her house. 4ft from wall, partial shade. it does great. its been there 20 years and is small. maybe 8-10 ft. tall.
