I tried to find some info in the archives but had a hard time finding what I needed to know so I hope someone can help me. My Mother-in-law & Father-in-law got a Calla lily for their anniversary yesterday, & it is in a pot. She wants to plant it outside when it warms up & I told her I would look up the time for when she needs to pull up the tubers for winter storage & any other tips that would be helpful regarding watering & fertilizer. I did find info on how to keep it as a houseplant, but that was as far as I got. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Callas need ample moisture...they often grow near ponds. I'm not big on fertilizer, instead I use compost, but she can fertilize it when she plants it. They should be dug up right after the first frost in fall.
