I can't wait for it get shipped from spring Hill Nursery. It comes around April 10-17th. It's a vine. It can get 25". I don't expect that since I will be keeping it indoors.+ I don't live in zone 9-10 like it suggests. I'm 7. Well, I was wondering if anyone else had one and any tips too. It's going to be so cool! I love different and unusual plants.

I had one 2 years ago...it grew like crazy! I had it growing up my arbor and it quickly grew to the top and beyond. The blooms are really pretty, too. However, mine didn't return last year...I'm in zone 6b/7a.

You have to keep them in during the winter they are only zone 9-10. Did you have it indoors? I have to come up with something for it to grow on in a pot so it can come in during the winter! I have not gotten any ideas yet. They are supposed to get 20-25' long....

I drool over it every year in the catalogs. But although I could wind it all the way around my big window I think it would be more of a problem than I want to handle. But if I get a permanent home maybe I'll try one. But the Jasmine is first on my list.

I had to look it up to find a common name more familiar to me. Snail vine is what I call them here. They are easy to grow here in my zone 9. I don't know about overwintering elsewhere. They are bug magnets and need lot's of something to help get rid of bugs of all types.
They are called snail vines because the flowers are shaped vaguely like snail shells and are usually lavender. They are also fragrant up close. They also put out a pea-type pod of seeds that aren't difficult to start.
