Today I got a pkg. from The national Home Gardeners Club:

I have not read all of the paperwork yet--but apparently if I become a member they will send me all kinds of seeds and or gardening tools & let me try them out--for free-- & tell them what I think--this sounds too good to be true---and so I was wanting to ask if any of you have any information about them.

Jimmy, jv, belongs to something like that. He loves the freebies. I do not know if it the same name as yours, though.

I do remember reading about something like that too, Carol, but I can't remember who it was here. It was definitely a female though, so not the same thing Tina is thinking about Jimmy.

I also need to tell you that I, too, received something like that a few years ago, and actually signed up, but never received anything at all afterwards!

I joined last year. They random pick people to test products. In the year I was a member I did not get anything to test. They do send a quarterly magazine that I liked.

The member package had some seeds, a small shovel but it was a good shovel, and a garden journal, and garden gloves. I did not feel cheated I think it was only $12 for one year membership. The life membership was 200.00.

They have a forum for members and there was a lot of people complaining that they had been members for years and never recieved anything to test.

Hello,

Yes, I have heard about this and did join over a year ago. They sent me gardening gloves and seeds and gardening tools for a kit. You also get a monthly magazine and other fun things to try out as well.
