wedding favours using soap or bath salts. Anyone have an idea...it can even be a play on words.

I have a million ideas for the seed and bulb favours but none for this.

That's a tough one Tamara....you can wrap it all up in fabric that's your wedding colors though.

On our day to shine we'd like you to shine too! (because soap makes you clean and shiny)

Or---Bathed in Love & Joy.

Or---Awash in Love & Joy.

After all of those I'd put your names and the date.

Oooo, this is a toughie. egad

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

We want to share our shower with you (sharing your bridal shower...too cheesy? it's the best i can think of right now)

Start preparing for the baby shower lol

I actually thought of that, too, Cindy. Figured it wasn't really appropriate for a wedding. But I laughed a bit.

Thanks everyone, they all sound great. I've heard of people biting in the soap favors thinking they were candy, so I wanted to make sure they knew what it was.

lol still laughing at Cindy's quote.

Hey another question....What favors did you use for your own wedding? grin

Well, my aunt gave out little bottles of wine and candy. Maybe flowers seeds/bulbs, candles, figurines, mugs, pens, placecard holders (the ones with a base and allegator clip)

I bought clear votive holders and votive candles in my wedding colors. Then I took a silver pen and wrote our names and our wedding date around them. People liked them, they were cheap, and they tied in our wedding colors.

My sisters just did Hershey Kisses in little Tulle bags tied up with ribbon with a little note that said---Hugs and Kisses for the Mr & Mrs.

One of my friends had really pretty bookmarks made for their favor to show her love of reading.

Great ideas. I bought little votive candles in glass holders the other day for 50 cents a piece. I was thinking of the same idea Loz.

I was thinking flower seeds as well. I have a large bag of Hollyhock seeds that I could do up in little containers.

I was also going to make some mini soaps from those cute shaped ice molds and pot pourri bags as well. I will be going to the dollar store on Thursday(hopefully) and need to pick up more supplies.

Today we begin sharing not just love ---but life

My DD made CD's with still pictures of she & Chris over the years--it had a mall "thank you for helping us celebrate our special day" card attached.

Oldest DD had a small paper thanksaaing her guests typed out in script & then rolled up and held by one of those small toy wedding rings yo find in party/wedding stores
