I was interested in getting a plant for my office at work, but I have ZERO access to a window.
The only light will be coming from standard fluorescent lighting... which is quite bright but not sunlight.

What are some plants that will do fine in this setting?

Hi Reinonu,

philodendron( marble queen) , mother in law tongue( snake plant) are two right off the top of my head that will do well.

peace lily, dracaena, spider plant, croton, arrow head vine, wandering jew, lucky bamboo (another form of dracaena), diffenbachia, oh, gosh, nearly every plant that will take moderate light will do ok under fluorescents. they only have a problem under incandescent bulbs.

Excellent!

I have a snake plant, wandering jew, and a philodendron (but not the marble queen variety), so I think I'll make some cuttings and see how they do.

I didn't want bamboo or anything that "stick" looking. I'm going more for lush green looking and faster growing.

Thanks for the tips!
