but here goes, my gas company (lp gas I heat my house with , they tell me they can only deliver here 2 days a week, and then they tell me they'll only come if I am down to 20% in my tank, well I'm sitting on 30% planning to use gas tonight and they were suppose to come today, I have a picture of them on my security camera backing up and pulling the hose out. So I call and ask why I got no gas, well he tells me first that his guy was out of gas when he got here, so I ask why he bothered pulling the hose around to my tank if he's out, so then he changes the story, and tells me well you got pleanty of gas you're heater only uses 15'000 BTUs and you should have enough to last another week. Well I tell him I don't use the furnces that came with the house it's electric and I have 2 gas heaters one on each end of the house that run 21,000 BTU's and that I don't run them around the clock, I warm the house up and turn them off and no I can go another week, I've dropped from 50% to 30% in the last couple days because it's been colder. So he says well we'll bring you some friday, well I'm not going to be home friday,

my question...can they tell me at what precent I have to buy gas? Is that legal? I have AShley here and I don't want to riun out of gas and them not come.

they pull this crap every year and I am so fed up with it.
BTW I use their tank I do all the up keep on it but they still charge me for it

Telling another company that the tank is yours won't work. Do call around to other companies and see what their prices and policies are. Changing out tanks is easy and all the new company has to do is a pressure test on your gas system. Then call your present company and tell them what you are doing. They may just cut you a better deal.

thanks I stopped tonight on the way to taking Ashley to dance class and talked with another driver of another gas company he he helped a great deal.

So I may be swapping.

He said that if a company is called even at 30% they are suppose to fill the tank.

i thought so. generally, from what i remember, they won't come if you are over 30-40% particularly in winter. in summer, they can be more picky. but i haven't used propane in years, so i could be wrong.

look at the waste they did today because he came out here (got a pic of him sitting in my drive way...then refused to fill it, that's money down the drain, that's dumb
