I have two tree-like plants that I inherited. I'm not sure what exactly they are. They both have small groups of about 7 to 8 little leaves.
I thought they were heptapleurum but I couldn't find a picture that matched or came close.
Does anyone have any idea what these two plants are?

Yes loz - they are umbrella plants, otherwise known as Schefflera.

Nice pictures, Reinonu!

Where are you in NJ? I am in NY in Rockland County just over the border from Bergen County, NJ.

Great start! I didn't know of the Umbrella plants.
But I still don't really know what they are because there are umbrella plants and umbrella trees. So anything from Schefflera to Cyperus.
I guess they fall under Umbrella Tree, or Schefflera. Any idea which kinds of Schefflera?

The second one has such peculiar leaves.

they are both varieties of schefflera, aka umbrella tree or umbrella plant.

both varieties of Schefflera arboricola. the one with odd tips looks like 'Janine'

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
