I'd like to say "hello" to everyone, as I anxiously await spring. I've been sifting through seed and plant catalogs since Christmas, planning what to plant and where! I'm certainly also looking forward to learning and sharing ideas with other gardeners. Thanks for a great place to do just that!
A yard without flowers is like a face without a smile.
Hey there! We are neighbors as well, lived here all my life! Glad to have you on this forum. There is not enough good things to say about the people here!
Hi, Happy! I'm Thornius in Hermitage, TN. I don't know gardening as well as many of the folks here, but I sure KNOW my wild birds! Nevertheless, I should have several hundred Cannas this year as well as my flower beds and the trees and bushes I tend for the birds. My gardening is subtle but is aimed at benefitting birds, wildlife, and the environment. Welcome to the forum.
Kingdoms RAGE and go to war...but the PEasants plant potatoes..
EARTH FIRST! (we'll strip-mine the OTHER planets later.)
I also recently joined after rereading my catalogs/books for the 100th time. Everyone is very friendly and there are other areas off the gardening area if your interested (recipes, birds, games ect )I've just started some annual seeds for my summer window boxes and containers. It's a nice way of extending the gardening season. I'm also getting alot of help with my indoor plants with which I finally havinf some success after many years of killing everything within 3 months. I hope you find the forum as helpful as I have. Welcome.
