the one near me just got in a LOT of gnome items for spring!!! And this is a tiny store. There are all kinds of resin statues from pretty large, to about 2 inches high.

The newest thing is... gnome stepping stones!!!
They are very colorful and I've never seen any anywhere before.
I don't decorate with them in my gardens, but thought I'd pass this on to those who have said that they never see them sold anywhere near them.

Sounds cute, we don't have any type of craft store here. Wish we did. It is impossible to find the simplest items most of the time.

gnomes are catching on everywhere.

Funny you should mention fairies - just yesterday I was in Borders Books looking at their leftover calendars - Amy needed a wall calendar - and the only decent one they had left was actually a "Fairyology journal" one of the flower Fairies - PERFECT!!! And all calendars are marked down to $4! DOUBLE PERFECT!!!

We have a JoAnns store.....they are usually pretty expensive though as far as outdoor stuff goes, I try to catch their clearance in the fall so I can snap up some of their stuff!

My sister works for Crackerbarrel as a manager, I'll have to ask her about their stuff--she gets a good discount of things too!

JoAnn's has 30% off their garden decor right now. Some of the prices are pretty high, while others are very reasonable with the sale.

I just got home from returning and shopping. Stopped into Home Goods - the domestic store owned by the same company as Marshalls and TJMaxx. I have often found nice decorative things there. Some are a little more pricey than I'd like, but sometimes I splurge - like today when I bought a fairy statue for the pond. He is sitting and holding a small pan - I think I'll put some glass stones in the pan.

Anywho... the tag has wonderful information about fairies...

"Step Softly, so not to frighten the fairies away. Fairies are the spirits of nature, somewhere between man and angel. They are fond of music and dance, and you may glimpse their revelry when the moon is full. They are mischief-makers, so you may find evidence of them in your garden or cupboard. They are gentle spirits, though, and bring no harm to good people. Rather, they may bestow gifts and blessings.

Fairies are shy. They cherish secrecy and are often invisible, but they may reveal themselves to you... if you have the gift of fairy vision.
Be Quiet, YOU ARE THERE..."

I like that I copied it I would like a garden sign with that in my fairy area. Thanks for posting that one.

I recently saw a good gagoyle history that I saved. There are so many wonderful garden mythology.
