Hello everyone I notice yesterday and today I also seen one a pretty good size crab on my lawn how do I get rid of them or is there away to rid them?Thank you

Do you mean crabgrass? If you have crab on yur lawn, I'll come up there and harvest all you've got. Please be more specific, as gas ain't cheap.

I too was wondering where crabs came from in Ohio! lol

Hello no I mean crabs.. of course I got weeds and if crab grass a weed I got that too?These are small animals with claws that can pinch and yes I live in Ohio but the two I seen were coming out of the ground not sure if they are the ones that makes the mud raise up in the lawn or not? But I do have some I do not see the yard fill with them but I do have them?

I don't think I've ever saw a crawdad.....but I know people have had them in their yards before.

wow! i wouldn't have thought of crawdads in ohio, but i can see where you'd be very unhappy rita. kissie thank you cindy for the interesting reading!

Yes the crawfish make the mud tunnels in your yard. If you have enough of them, you can throw them in a pot to eat too! We have them on the edges of our yard but we have a creek that runs through the middle of our two lots. They love to hang around where it's moist. When I was a kid, we used to put a thin stick down their mud hole and when they snatched it, we pulled them out (had to be REAL quick though!). And I agree, they can give you a nasty bite!
