Someone gave me the name but it was in the old forum.

It grew for 3 years last summer it did not return. I want to buy another one but do not know the name. I received it in a trade.

Description
Tall 6 - 8' it was very tall. Tree like
Blooms Late June until frost
No Fragrance

Im pretty sure its a mallow too...maybe white musk mallow? I found this picture, your first pic seems to be ea semi double or are those just the stamen things? http://www.wildflowersofontario.ca/muskmallow2.jpg

looks like a double white mallow to me. sorry, can't give you a specific name for it.

do you remember who you did the trade with? are they still here? maybe you could do another trade?

Thank you both for trying to ID.

I do not remember who I traded with. I did post the pic in the old forum here and they immediately came up with the name. It comes in a yellow and this white one. It was not a Hibiscus although Mallows are in that family. This one had a name.

Is the old forum accessable?
