PUMPKIN PIE SQUARES

1 C SIFTED FLOUR
1/2 quick cooking rolled oats
1/c brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 (1 lb) can pumpkin *2 cups
1 (13 ) oz evaporated milk( I used regular milk)
2 eggs
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves..I didnt use this one

TOPPING
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tblsp butter

Mix flour,rolled oats, sugar and butter to make a crust
Put into 9 x 13 pan
Bake 350º for 15 minutes
In mixing bowl
combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar salt and spices ,mixwell.
Pour over baked crust.bake at 350º for 20 minutes
mix together chopped pecans
brown sugar and butter....(I melt it a little)
Sprinkle over baked pumpkin, and bake again for 15 or 20 minutes .
Till center is done.
cool
top with whipped cream....Kool whip

Hint.
This is done in 3 stages..baked 3 times.

It's in the Recipe place...must be right.

Sounds really good!!!
If I made this it would be with ready-made crust to bake, and canned pumkin pie filling..THEN I'd add the topping.
I don't do anything from scratch anymore. Too lazy I guess.
