The whole thing is counted cross stitch except for the outlines and details. It measures 11x14, that's why it took me so long. There was a lot of work there.
You'd get along fine with my daughter because she has been working on one for me for almost two years! Will you be getting a simple or a "fancy" frame?
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, it's inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." by Winston Churchill
I want to get a brown wood frame and I want to mat it, I think with a cream color mat. I have to find a 15x18 frame to be able to mat it though. Hopefully I'll find one. I saw one online but I'd rather find one in a store here and not have to pay the shipping and then wait for it. I'm not too excited about most cross stitch designs but when I saw this one it spoke to me and I had to have it.
Cheryl I can truly say that is beautiful....I know how much work that took you since I too do counted cross stitch. It takes FOREVER to do one that size with that much detail and outlining.
I love it and it's one that I would've picked out to do myself....
I just LOVE your cross stitch. You did wonderful work---I have only done the designs on a bread cloth or two, but I know just from that the time & work envolved. Your work is beautiful. Tt is the Perfect piece.----I can't wait to see it when you have it matted & framed.
