We are one of the Gardeners here in Davao City, Philippines. I just recently joined this group to learn and further my knowledge about all plants and in return I shall try to share our methods our propagating and taking care of them. I have been trying to join all kinds of organization and I realized that it is better to diversify and try all the other methods that they have shared upon me. Hope I can be of service to some of our members and vice versa.

i've got to check my geography, but aren't you south of manila? i saw this post today, but don't post when i'm at work, and didn't have time to google a map to see just where you are.

you will find that this is the friendliest place on the web, and you aren't the only filipino gardener on here, but i don't think we have any who are actually in the philippines.

and, no, i'm not filipino, but my daughter is mestisa, we have friends and family in pangasinan, and i lived at subic for 3 years.

I am a newbie to Davao City, but not to gardening. I have rented a little apartment with a small outdoor space suitable for a container garden. I joined this forum to get advice on where I can find large clay pots (troughs even better) and potting soil in quantity.

Any suggestions, anyone?

Before I offer any advice, please tell me. What kinds of stores do you have access to in your area.

What zone are you in , will help us know what to recommend to you.
Lots of house plants an annuals are good on that place. However if its winter there, inside they go.
Most fun to have bloomers around you .
