cat in a tree???

this is day 2, notice the power line running below the cat.

Cats can go UP a tree, it's EXTREMELY difficult for them to go DOWN a tree.

i know you aren't haha but, matthew went up after him, in his fire gear (to protect matthew) and the cat just went higher. we have a 20+ foot extension ladder and matthew couldn't reach the cat from the highest he could reach. and matthew isn't a short child lol is he cindy?

i calculate that at his highest the cat was about 35 feet straight up a georgia pine. i am glad he is down and gone. he definitely left the area, we checked to make sure he didn't fall and need a vet.
