Never mind the cereal...we've got lemon pie and butterscotch squares for breakfast.

Oh cool--I will take some of each, please. I have not ever had butterscoth squares.

They are good, you line a pan with graham squares. Melt some margarine and a pack of butterscotch chips then cook in an egg, then take off stove and mix in 2 cups icing sugar. Pour half over graham squares then layer another then butterscotch mix again, cool and cut

you say "some" margarine---a sick, 1/2 cup or what?// sound like something DH would like.

have you ever tried changing the kind of chips used??

Yup, I've used chocolate but the butterscotch is better...gonna try peanut butter chips soon.

I have some white chocolate swirled with raspberry I think it is--I was jsut wondering---My mom would love the butterscoth though & I could make sure Rod would share---

I forgot to ask---9x9 or 9x13 pan---
and a 2 cup bag of chips, right??

Morning everyone,
I am up early today-had my oatmeal already- been eating it to try and get a little healthier... lose a few pounds too- feel like I am running and meeting myself lately...Mom gets out of the hospital today and is being transfered to a nursinghome- rehab center-she will be in the rehab part .. hopefully for a few weeks till she can get back walking on her own- she is doing well otherwise- looks a lot better- my oldest and my niece are going to hospital this morning to make sure all goes well with the transfer- they do a lot of hurry up and wait stuff- told my niece to bring me her kids and I will watch them- hope she does cause they don't need to be with them at the hospital all day...she says her little boy will cry- but I have a feeling I have enough stuff to occupy him and keep him happy, and if he cries- won't be the first crying kid I have handled.... including his Mom and his grandma- boy I am old!
Hubby is off to work too- it's cold this mornign but supposed to warm up in the 50's - will be good if that happens- I need some warmth....
Well off to get some babyproofing done- just in case... we have to get birthday stuff sometime today too for Nicoli's 3rd on Sat-- he is so excited about having a power ranger cake..

Oh, my car is such a mess. The backseat floor is a trash can and collects all kinds of stuff. It is raining out today. A little drizzle. Rain is a blessing though. We've had a few tough years.

But we went to hubby's daughters this week end and they are ungodly nasty, he made them wash their hands before they got in, but they really needed a bath

Hello, just popping in for a few while my floors dry...I've got to learn to stop cleaning so much.

It is a curse and when I am stressed it is compulsive....

I love Little House on the Prairie, it doesn't come on here though anymore.

The sun is shining here as well today but a bad east wind, earache weather.

I got Jonni off to school and have made my phone calls. I am here for an hour or so until I have to go pick her up again.

I got a new laptop today and we FINALLY got high speed at our house. Believe it or not somebody decided to offer it in the boonies. Now I can finally come on here at night without getting terribly frustrated with a slow internet. I can watch TV at the same time too.

Laptop and high speed. You can let your son go on webkinz now.

Good for you Jessica!! I have High speed internet,, maybe one of these years I'll get a laptop! I'd love to sit outside on the patio with one,, especially in the spring evenings,, that would be awesome!

Oh tamera I just saw a commercial for highspeed internet! but u don't need a cable though the ground or wires nothing!!! something about as long as u can see the sky it gets it from a satillete... if i see the commercial again ill send u a link to their website!!!! thought it might interest u!
