I posted on this earlier, so please forgive me if I am repeating.
I recently purchased what I was told is a "Bishop's cloak"... the plant is about three feet tall, with ribbed leaves and a clump of rose colored flowers at the top. But I have not been able to find anything regarding its care... have driven myself blind perusing the Net, even! *smile*
Hopefully, some garden-savy person out there can enlighten me. I love finding different plants for my yard, but must admit this one has me stumped. I usually purchase at a nursery where information on care is usually available, but this particular plant caught my eye at a local feed store-- so no care info available.
I have also searched under "Bishop's cape" and "Bishop's cap"...

The flower you are referring to is Odontonema strictum, often called Cardinals Cloak.
