I was lucky to get to the Everglades while I was in FLA recently and was just awe struck by the wildlife, especially the birds. I would have loved to spend more time just birdwatching. I plan to spend more time there next year when I go back.

I got so enthralled with looking at everything that I only took a picture of an alligator. I was also fascinated by the bromiliads growing on the trees. I only had a day to spend there, but next time, I'll plan to spend more and I would love to take a tour with someone who really knows it well. I know that you can take air boat rides into the Everglades, but I want to really see EVERYTHING.

ive never been on the airboat ride.. they do have guides their that take u thorugh it all. ive been there alot but oculdnt give a tour to save my life i would be like yes here is a purple thingy how pretty! lol you can see alligators anywhere but i know it is exciting to see one! but just go to any golf course here and ull see many! next time you come to florida you should go to a restuarant called the wateringhole they have a live alligtor there on display its over 14 foot its in a cage but they got the permit and it kille dover 40 alligators in a day and tried to kill its owners that owned the gator farm so instead of killing it they built a 10,000 dollar cage for it (it dont look like it but..) his name is big bully... paul newman went there and he tried paying with a credit card and they dont accept them so someone lese had to pay his bill... lol so if u go take a personal check or cash!
