This is my nectarine tree. Thry're blooming early since my area's been recieving warm weather for the last week.Yeah...sorry about the photo problem.I've fixed it. You can now delete the other ones I posted earlier.
When I had a cherry tree I never got to taste the cherries. The birds would eat every last one and leave the seeds hanging from the trees.
Have you ever gotten to eat your cherries?
No.. I never have! I think the birds eat them before we get to them..
I am thinking of putting the bird netting over it this year.. but, I am not even sure what kind of cherry tree it is.. I wish there was some way to tell.. I don't want to spend the money on the netting if I am not going to like the cherries anyway.. ya know?
My biggest peach tree is smaller than that and in it's 4th year this year....It didn't flower previous years so I'm hoping this will be a good year for it.....all 3 of my peach trees grew a lot last summer.

Oh man.. it takes THAT long.. ??? That is kind of a bummer.. Do you have to do anything special with them Loz?? Or just let em go???
My tree grew from a peach pit that fell off my dads peach trees.....they grow VERY slowly when you grow them yourself like that. But it grew a lot last summer....I'd say it's about 3 1/2 feet tall now---grew about a foot just last year.
I guess if you buy them already established from the store it wouldn't be too bad.....they'd already be out of the "baby" stage.
Well I definitely want it to produce as soon as possible obviously.. so I will buy mine.. when do you suppose I should start looking for them?? I hate to wait til they all get picked over.. but it is too early to plant yet.. *looks out window at huge falling snowflakes*
Here are the fruit tree pics we've all been waiting for!
This is my backyard plum tree. This is its first year blossoming heavily. It might bear lots of fruit this year. I pruned it every winter, but my dad said that I was ruining it.Look at this tree now!
This is my peach tree at night.I took this pic lying down on the ground. The tree might bear heavily this year.
This is my front yard plum tree at sunset.A peaceful sunset in my neighborhood. Oh yeah...I forgot to set the date on the camera again. Well........Enjoy!
GREAT NEWS!!! I checked my peach, plum,& nectarine trees & found tiny fruit swelling! Now the trees need lots of water to store in the fruit.I'm ahead of everyone!
The peach, plum, nectarine,& damson fruits are growing.I'm having a bit of trouble with peach leaf curl on the peach& nectarine trees. I pull out & burn affected leaves.
