I just recieved three grape vines from a friend, I believe she bought them at BJ's. The roots are in plastic but there are leaves on the stems. When do I plant them and more importantly what do I do with them until planting. I live in zone 6 south Jersey.

You've got a bit of a problem. You can't plant out until after the last frost. The vines have broken dormancy, so you'll need to keep them in an unheated garage or similar place, out of direct light until frost danger is past. They're pretty tough, but they'll need a bit of pampering now. If the leaf buds hadn't opened, they probably could have been planted out in your area. This kind of thing happens a lot when stores buy dormant plants and move them into heated spaces.
