Hi,

I have an ivy plant that recently became infested with either spider mites or mealy bugs(I think). I've since gotten rid of the ivy plant, as I live in a small apartment that is clearly not conducive to raising an ivy. However, I was wondering: do I need to fumigate my apartment for the bugs? I thoroughly cleaned the area, and vaccumed the carpet once the ivy was gone. I have no other plants that the bugs could bother, but I'm nervous that some of the bugs got onto my carpet. Can they live without something to feed on?

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Lisa Baran
