Hi all,
I just got a call from Merme- she is back in hospital- had congestive heart problems and is now on dialysis - permenently they say- she feels a lot better now but needs to get her strength back, she got to see Maxi today too so that helped a lot.. she sounded good but tired as we can expect... so keep praying everyone- will be a while before she will be back this time.

I did not know things were that bad for her, I knew I have not seen her around here in forever! Please tell her I am thinking of her!

I will send all our thoughts and prayers along to her, I know she tried very hard to avoid having to do the dialysis but it is necessary now for her to stay with Maxi as long as she can... praying hard for her to get strong and home again soon.

I've been wondering how she's doing.

Hi Loz, I called the hospital today but all they said is she had been discharged - don't know if it was to home or to a rehab place... I am sending an email to her friend in maine to see if she knows anything - I did call her house and leave a message for her too - in case she is home.... I am running so much with Mom and stuff but am trying to keep up with Merme too.

Hi all,
I emailed Merme's friend and she got right back to me- she is aptly named-- Angel... Merme is still in hospital but different section- in rehab now and doing fine- just called there and got to talk for a minute , caught her in midst of a session so she will call me back.. sounded good though... I will update again after she calls me...

Nana, tell her when she has a minute and if she's feeling up to it sometime she should stop in and say hi....sure miss her around here.

She may not have access at the hospital this time. Prayers for Merme's recovery too.

Hi all, Merme says thanks for all the prayers and good wishes- she sounded so good on the phone... she is in same hosptital complex but back in rehab part now to gain strength...she has to have dialysis for 5 1/2 hours at a time - really boring for her right now cause in the hospital she has to lie down in a bed.... when she gets to go home at least she will be able to do it at a clinic and sit in a recliner ... sure makes me appreciate how good my health is right now... she is in good spirits though and enjoyed all the messages I passed on.

Again, thanks for the update, Nana. I am sorry Merme has to be going thru so much, but it sounds like she is doing well through it all in spite of the situation. so good for her !!!

Hi all,
I have been running so much last few days I haven't had a chance to call her- she did call me yesterday and left me a message she is feeling much better and doing well in rehab... tried to call her a few minutes ago and yesterday and got no answer so will try again later-- have to do a lot of running today too but will fwd my calls to my cell today... she sounded a lot stronger and more like our merme when she called so that relieved my mind a lot.

A New update on Merme... got another call from her today... she gets to go home next week- she sounds so much better and feels a whole lot better too she said,she wanted to pass on her thanks for the prayers and good wishes... she sends her prayers for Cindy too....
