When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
These are the $2 goblets I bought. I etched our monogram on it and added the rest. Same for the cake server. I know I'm cheap...my supplies all came from Wal-mart

Not cheap...making the most of the dollar! I find that our dollar stores have better quality things and for cheaper than wal mart, i'm not a big fan of wal mart, but that's my thing. I though you would have had tulips and daffs blooming...i just figured now your wedding's just a few weeks away all along I though it was in June...boy was I zoned out lol

No flowers blooming by then, not even the crocus. The snow is up to my roof.
Here's a few more pics.
The throw away bouquet
And the card box....made with the same material that my bolero is made of. I covered up a fancy Christmas box I had. They wanted $15 for a plain cardboard card box...crazy.

Tamara: you do beautiful work !!! all of the things you have put up pictures for look professional.
I think you should go into business. I know people would be thrilled to have you do this stuff for them. You would only have to take as many 'clients' as you wanted to sprnd time on.
again--things are beautiful---and your wedding is going to be beautiful.

well you are pretty much done now---with the exception of the cake baking & the jacket sewing, right ??? then yes, you get to rest, then clean up your house really well & then rest some more---you gotta be rested for the big day and for your surgery, right ???

Wow.. how exciting!! All of your things look amazing!! We got alot of stuff for my daughter's wedding at Walmart too! I did her bouquet and all the brides maids.. and I even made the flower girl basket. ;)
I too found many things at wal-mart as well as other discound stores for both of my DD's weddings. That is the sensible thing to do--why buy something some place else when wal-mart has it for less ??

I also have silk roses to make up centerpieces as well...just haven't picked up my vases from the dollar store yet....I should do that today while I make a run for DD's grad pics.

Just the little centerpieces to make now.....I picked up a few things to try and I like it so I just have to hit the local $1 to $5 store with $20 and after an hours work and more burned fingers, i'll be done.
