This is my bouquet, what a time I had stringing pearls onto the ribbon.

This is my cake topper.

These are the $2 goblets I bought. I etched our monogram on it and added the rest. Same for the cake server. I know I'm cheap...my supplies all came from Wal-mart lol

Not cheap...making the most of the dollar! I find that our dollar stores have better quality things and for cheaper than wal mart, i'm not a big fan of wal mart, but that's my thing. I though you would have had tulips and daffs blooming...i just figured now your wedding's just a few weeks away lol all along I though it was in June...boy was I zoned out lol

I copied the same pic three times lol

No flowers blooming by then, not even the crocus. The snow is up to my roof.

Here's a few more pics.

The throw away bouquet

[Linked Image]

And the card box....made with the same material that my bolero is made of. I covered up a fancy Christmas box I had. They wanted $15 for a plain cardboard card box...crazy.

Here's the last two that uploaded. This is my maid of honours bouquet, using only 3 roses. Mine has 7.

[Linked Image]

And here is a pic of all the different favours I have made so far. I have a large box full of them.

[Linked Image]

That's all for now...more to follow in a few days.

Tamara: you do beautiful work !!! all of the things you have put up pictures for look professional.

I think you should go into business. I know people would be thrilled to have you do this stuff for them. You would only have to take as many 'clients' as you wanted to sprnd time on.

again--things are beautiful---and your wedding is going to be beautiful. thumbup

I only have to hem DH's jacket sleeves, move the straps on my dress, make my bolero then the cake. The cake gets done two days before.

We decorate the hall the night before.

This week I have to pick up the wine for the toasts....

I too found many things at wal-mart as well as other discound stores for both of my DD's weddings. That is the sensible thing to do--why buy something some place else when wal-mart has it for less ??

I agree with Carol - you do excellent work!
I absolutely LOVE the color of your flowers, and the bouquets, etc came out so very pretty!

No one would ever guess that you got it all at WalMart - you have wonderful taste, Tamara!

I made the bolero....but I don't like it.

I think I'll try get a yard of lace and make it over again, I made it with a cream coloured satin...too shiny.

....all finished with the favours.

Just the little centerpieces to make now.....I picked up a few things to try and I like it so I just have to hit the local $1 to $5 store with $20 and after an hours work and more burned fingers, i'll be done.
