I made a cheap trellis for pole beans by nailing& tying fencing to a 7 foot tall thick pole It's pretty sturdy. 
Waiting for fall...

We're going to use some twisted willow branches (hopefully). We're hoping to make a teepee for the Boys to hide in. (this is my favorite subforum!!)

Cool.
I use fishing line tied to anchors around the top of my birdhouse pole and tied to tent pickets hammered in the ground.
I plant my beans at the edge of all the pickets and leave them climb up the twine around the pole. Looks pretty as well.
