lol Dad was saying today how in a few weeks time we'll all be mowing the grass again. Well not ME, but Mark. lol

Ummm, the Avon order should be here soon----I got a red, white, and blue tote bag to match my flip flops....and a Turbie Towel type of hair towel. I think that was it. I ordered an anklet but it is backorderd until next time.

Mom has some shoes and earrings coming to her. grin

You mean no flip flops for you? Your slipping lol

Are morning glories an annual or perennial there?

I have 4 brand new pairs just waiting to be worn already. lol The tote matches one of those pairs. thumbup lol

They are annuals here. Pretty stinking invasive---but I always like the look of them covering a trellis. Every year I grow them they pop up all OVER the place the next year. egad

is it just me, or does the USD stretch wider? the seeds here are on average 2.99, don't even talk about fertilizer! 2.99 at wal mart, and the exact same brand/type available a the dollar store!

the trellis looks like a good 6' tall or close? I can't get a trellis abror like that for anywhere less than $40 (I had my eye on one last year) I definately have to make my birthday wish list known to my aunt lol

I think it does stretch a little further Kenny. That Trellis was normally 19.99 marked down to 8.99--it sold out right after I bought it.

I'm 5'10" and quite a lot taller than me. grin

The thing is though, I'm like the bargain queen---I'm always looking online for the best deals. grin Some may say I'm cheap, I just say I'm frugal. lol

Kenny your seeds are 2.99 in Walmart? You can get packs of seeds in ours for 99 cents. Dollar store you can get them 4/$1. But that's just basic common seeds.

lol Hey when you are older come on down for a visit....we have 3 bedrooms. lol

Most of the 4/$1 seeds are things like Cosmos, Zinnias, Sunflowers, Bachelors Buttons, Asters, stuff like that.

The seeds here at wal mart average 99 cents. There are some 1.07 &1.50 seeds also.I don't get the 10 cent packets because they only have ten seeds or less. I'm Mr.Cheap! My clothes cost less than five bucks my shoes cost less than 20.I love a good bargain.I can spot bargains faster than my mom.

I tell you something though, that has a pretty realistic face....I put it in and thought, wow--that almost looks real. Probably the closest to a real dog I'll get. rspb

I got a new Willy!!!!! He was the ONLY one....I thought mom was going to cry because she wanted one too! And guess what? He was only $2.99---yep, $2.99.

If you google shouder ride gnome, the first link they are selling him for $14.89. grin You know the mooning Willy that me, Cindy, and Jiffy have? Well it came from that same line of gnomes.

And I got that new flag for my flagpole---it'll be nice for summer and it was only $1.99 can you believe that?

[Linked Image]

I got a new hummingbird feeder that looks like an orange(and it's a brand name feeder), it was only $2.99 and some Plant Food that is in a gel format and you just pump it in your watering can....it was only $2.99 too.

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

I got some really heavy duty trowels for only $1.99 each---they feel super sturdy. thumbup Lynne, I will still be buying the one you recommended BTW...I'm just going to order it and I want to wait a little while to put in an Amazon order.
Oh and that flag thing? I loved that. It's the size of a small garden flag but it's kind of hard if that makes sense......it's doesn't flap around, it's anchored down on each end and it has a stake and you put it in the ground...... The box says $9.99, but it was only $2.49.

So let's see I spent a total of..... $15.44 for all that stuff.

clap

I know all the good stores to go to for cheap stuff. lol

That hummingbird feeder is WAY nicer than I thought....I figured it was plastic, but it's all glass. thumbup $2.99 can't beat that. clap And the flag is really nice too...I just opened it up...can't believe it was only $1.99.

Great deals as always, loz!
Don't feel obligated to get the trowel I mentioned - I just really like mine...
By the way, Home Goods had a set by the same company as mine, but it was $14.95 and had the same size one I already had with 2 other items so I didn't get it. I know that Don spent a lot more on mine at the very pricey nursery here though.

Can we see a picture of the hummingbird feeder when you take it out of the box - I've never seen one like that before - in orange.

Yeah, but I'll still get that trowel...I seriously seem to lose them or break them so often....and I have them all over the place.....the front porch, the back porch, the lower back porch, my plant shelf outside.....I keep them all over the place. lol Handier that way.

Sure you can see it....it looks just like an orange.....I'm really pleased it's glass, I expected plastic for that price.....and I was okay with that, so it's a nice surprise. I'll take a pic here in a few.

I could sit under it I suppose, but there will be lots of bees going in and out of the flowers growing up it so it's probably not a great idea. lol

No stealing barb! neenee nono neenee haha

It was an awful good price though, it was $20--even that isn't a bad price, but $9 is a steal.
