oooh, that sounds so good tina. scott is sick, so we won't do anything. not that we had anything planned anyway. he was up most of the night with fever and chills. which means i was up too but that's ok, he's sleeping now and i got some sleep this morning.
well, i'm just hoping he is better by morning. he has time off work if he needs it, but his job is like mine, they lump sick and vacation together. but i might just drive trough kfc for dinner today.
I need to pick up a couple of things from walmart today. I think it is open, maybe. I am also doing laundry. My kids still have school tomorrow. They don't start spring break until Mar. 31.

I am taking it easy this morning. In a couple of hours I am going to my EX's house to spend the afternoon/evening with Maxi and his other family. I am taking the decorations and candles and she is cooking our traditional favorites.
Actually, she stayed up til midnight last night making potato salad with my family's secret recipe. After she got it done and tasted it, she thought it was worth the effort! Good thing, huh?
So I've gotten laundry done and took my shower and packed my decoration bag and the bells for the children to ring at the table during their happy Alleluia's! Now I can putter around.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
As far as I know, up here only convenience stores/gas stations are open today, but I could be wrong.
Many businesses shut down for Good Friday, so I'd be surprised if they were open today.
I hope you can find what you need in town, Jiffy!

I can't believe that, Sheri! Why is he so miserable to you?

I just got back. Christine put on rather a nice spread and we all ate plenty. The kids seemed to have a great deal of fun, even the baby, who is so into walking now and is just adorable.
While I was out, we went around two apt complexes that I am interested in. The one that has really caught my eye is under construction and is expected to be ready for occupancy in June. It is being built just up the hill from where Maxi's dad lives. Above that is a large park. It is a nice area, overlooking the Fore River. Rather quiet in through there in spite of all the large complexes in the vacinity.

The potato salad was perfection! She did a great job.
Yes, I really like the area these apartments are located. I had been afraid they would be too "city" for me, but they aren't at all. The balconies are smaller than our porch is, but they are putting in a separate picnic area with tables and grills so we can use our patios/balconies for just relaxing.
I'm tired and must get out of my chair for a while and stretch.

Dianne, I do see my grans but I'm sure if my son in law had his way I wouldn't see them at all. And the thing is I don't know why he's this way. I've never been anything but nice to him. Did you do anything special today?
Sheri I did nothing today at least not holidayish,, I trimmed some branches back off the roof, cut them up and bundled them for the wood chipper in the morning, cleaned 2 more flower beds, and spread some compost over some areas,, other than that I've been sitting here reading GH all day!!
Merme,, It sure is great when you give a reciepe to someone and they make it as well !! ,, I agree with Sheri a park near by,, plus a BBq sitting area,, sounds like a plan!
Hiya Scott!!!

Must have had nice weather today Dianne. We worked in the yard yesterday and Johnny did a little this afternoon. I tried to take a nap. Being at church at 7:00 AM wore me out. Didn't get much sleep because Toodta wouldn't stop barking.
I worked outside a little this morning. I needed to fix some of my sprinklers. Mother Nature probably won't be doing much more of my watering for me. We hit near 90* today. Easter hardly ever sees us that warm. It was nice. At least nice for a day or two.
