Hello all, I am new to landscape gardening and the forum. If possible I would like to ask a couple of question:

Proper method to prune azelas and crepe myrtles?
And what does it mean when they say when pruning roses what is the bud? As in "pruning should be 1/2 to 1/4 inch above and outfacing bud"?

okay when you prune your rose look down on the bush to where you see a leaf set of 5 leaves look at the stalk and you will see little buds coming out of the stalk it looks like it is attached to the leaf but it isnt and that where youll prune... new stalks will grow from these buds... Hope this helps. also youll want to angle your cut to where it is at a 45 degree angle... hope this helps...

pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)
