Hi all, I left my brussels sprouts in the garden all winter. They had some sprouts on them that had gone tough over the summer. But now they have big gnarley sprouts that I guess came up over the winter, and new growth on the heads. I've never left them to winter, so what do I do now? Will they grow new sprouts if I take off the old ones? Should I trim them back? They are not staked, just lying on the ground. We had a lot of snow and freezing this year, I can't believe they are still alive!
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

We grow brussel sprouts, and they need to be pulled up,and replant new ones in about a months time, keep them well watered during the hot summer months, and by November you should have some for Thanksgiving through till the end off December. If It frost in November cover them up at night. Hope this helps. thumbup
