Yep I went to Lowes to get some weed and feed ,, of course I had to look in their clearance tables,,

I got 3 purple and one white( only one white one there ~ again boohoo) I think they are osteopermun's I'm not sure there wasn't a tag,, the petals are [i]almost spoon shaped,, they aren't all the way opened yet,, tho the purple ones appear more spoon shaped,,,, Any one know for sure what these are??

Yup, osteopermums they are. I've also heard of them being called African or cape daisies.

WOW Diane - more great bargains!!! I am soooo jealous! We NEVER get such terrific plants at such low prices!

Those first few are definitely osteospermum - and you are correct in calling them spoon petals.

I can't grow delphinium here, but I just LOVE the blues!

That kanagaroo's paws is COOL!!!

And you can't tell me that that hanging basket wasn't more than $2.50?!?!?!?

NOOOOOOOOOO fair! But I'm sooooooooooo glad that YOU got them!!!

I still haven't gotten over the great solar lights and now this. Why can't I find a good sale in this area? A few weeks ago when I was having my hair cut one of the stylists came and with beautiful pots he had "just gotten at Home Depot for $5.00 a piece." I went straight there when I got through and they were all gone. boohoo

I repeat myself You are such a showoff.

Totally ditto to that!!!!! shock I can't find very good deals on plants around here....we have a nice nursery but it's expensive, our Walmart plants are half to totally dead, and Lowes plants are even pretty pricey here.

I want to steal that Kangaroo's paw! lol neenee

Thanks Lynne!! Now I'm really really Happy,, I've wanted spooned daisey's for a long time!! clap yipeeeeeeee!!

I sure can tell you it was 2.50 it was the last one the lady was marking prices as I was there I asked her the price,, as there wasn't a tag on it,, she took her tag gun and marked it,, everything she had been marking up to that point her marking gun was set at 2.50 neenee I was in the right place at the right time with the right lady reducing prices with the right price! lol

Ok Dianne, it seems none of us can get good sales. You need to go into business and buy cool stuff for a % and mail it to us. Or we could all move to Texas with you.

I've always wanted to see your yard anyway.

Diane, you have the hot topic of the night.....not trying to hijack you or anything----but this is fun! grin

neenee Yes I DO like my comfort....not much of a tenter, more of a hotel or bed person. lol lol lol

We don't have a Home Depot here, just a Lowes...so they have the monopoly here.
