I'm fine now. The past several weeks have been very trying and unimaginably scary. We came so close to losing her. You know how close Mommy and I are. Once we were fortunate enough to know she is going to be ok, I was ok.

Yes, Rachel..I DO know how very close you are to your mommy. I will NEVER forget being at your house and you and your mom looking at old pictures and laughing so hard!
How is that sweetie Brennen holding up? I bet he is growing like a weed!

I am SO thankful your mommy is going to be okay....I will NEVER miss checking on her AGAIN! Can't take my eyes off that girl for one minute now can I!!!!

Thanks for asking about us. Mommy will be so happy you've come back.

Brennan has done so good. He was such a little man while we were in WA. We were in a hotel room for 9 days (a few trips to Cedar Hill of course), and we walked back and forth to the hospital several times a day. That little precious thing didn't complain one time. He kept himself occupied with very little to do. Most importantly he gave his Cindy Granny BUNCHES of love! Even when she was in CCU and it was very scary to see her laying there like that he was right there talking to her and loving on her so she would know he was there. I could not have been more proud.

What a precious little man he is!

And I hope Lola is okay....she's never been away from Cundy before I don't think....

I told Cindy at Christmas that I had been a horrible friend...not checking in like i should....I fel so bad now! But I will make it up to her...I promise!

He is precious! I'm glad to hear your Peanut is doing well. That is wonderful news. Every time I see one of those bendy flowers I think of him.

Lola is doing good. Bill takes very good care of her. She's her Daddy's baby bird. She was excited to see me. I missed her, too. I cried when I left her.

Hey Jonni...it is GOOd to be here let me tell you!

Rachel, that is so funny about the bendy flowers...Peanut STILL carries them around everywhere he goes! People think it is so funny! I think of Brennen a lot too...Cindy Granny gave Peanut a couple of Brennen's shirts that he adores...I have a lot of pics of him in those shirts!

So glad that Lola has Mr. Bill to take care of her...what a comfort....

Yeah, Lola is in very good hands. Mommy had been away from her a couple times to come visit us. But only a few days at a time. This has basically been a month she has been away. I'm sure she'll have lots of love for her Mommy when she sees her. And she'll see her very soon I hope. Mommy will do so much better when she gets home.

You'll have to post some pics of Peanut for us soon. I can't imagine how big he's gotten.

Hi Merme....how are you doing??? It is a complete JOY to be here...

Although I am going to have to call it a night...but will be anxious to get back here to see if I can figure all this new stuff out. I know you all are old pros at it by now.....but it is like starting all over for me...and you know I am STILL old and slow! But I will get the hang of it....

I'm going to have to go to bed myself shortly.

It was good to talk to you again Vanessa. I don't think I've ever got to talk to you here on the forum. You'll have to come back real soon to talk to us.

How's your night going Merme?

Shrimp, potatos and corn will be cooked in the same pot. There will also be smoked chicken for those who do not like seafood. Everyone will make a covered dish.....no telling what will be there.

The weather is supposed to be warm,so they have the pool and hot tub ready to go.

Ohhhhhh, that sounds like fun! (and worth skipping the nap, LOL).

Pool and hot tub sounds heavenly right now.

My southern friend just told me it's also called a "low country boil".

Sounds similar to a "fish fry" up here. Or a old fashioned New England clam bake.

That is what we call it too. Wasn't sure if anyone else would know what it was,so I just called it a crab boil.

It will be a blast! There should be around 40 family members there, some I haven't seen in a year or 2. There are some that have never met Aiden,so we are really looking forward to it.

Morning all,
Up early with Mom again- but at least we are sleeping at night better- it's chilly here this morning- was so warm yesterday we turned of the heaters so house needs warming up before I bring her upstairs for breakfast today... helps she has two meds she can't take with food and has to take seperatly too- got her reading in her chair staying warm in her room till heaters work in the rest if the house.
Vanessa so good to see you here again- missed you and your Peanut too... he must be getting really big by now.... hope you find your way back soon..
We had a good birthday party for the twins yesterday- they had the bouncy castle and that turned out wonderfully for keeping them occupied and tired them all out nicely too- had brats- hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch- tater salad too-icecream and cake too... the kids all pitched in to clean up so that made it nice too...
Hubby has to go to work today, he just got up to get ready- so must be time for me to get Mom upstairs and having breakfast- then get her a shower and dressed - then me and will probably take a nap after that... still haven't caught up on my sleep.... gotta clean house eventually too- it's a mess.

Hi G-Mom,
I would have broken if I got in I think- was wonderful to keep them occupied though- since we have kids from almost 18 down to 1 and a half - it works well with all of them... the older ones played video games for a while too .. it's getting to be a tradition for us to do the bouncy thing when we have big get togethers - we had 14 kids here yesteday and 12 adults... we were outnumbered too! Good thing they never realized it...LOL!
Well off to make breakfast for Mom- he coffee is done and I am sure she is hungry by now.
