We got 6" of more snow last night. Trees are down across the roads. Power was out from midnight until 8 AM. I went out to seed the birds and knock some snow from my shrubs at 6, then the snow began to fall again.
We, too, are having weird weather. I was soooooooooooo very cold when we went out to Amy's school play last night - with good reason I found out later. It was only 22 degrees when we got home close to midnight, after Don and I had dinner out at 11. That was a record breaking LOW - the last time was 27 in 1983!!!
Hi again, We too are having wonderful spring in the Rockies weather- there was a dusting of snow outside when I got up, melting now but it is only 37* and yesterday was close to 70*... supposed to be cool rest of week too I guess... they will change their minds though I bet- they always do. I have laundry going and got my kitchen about half cleaned- still have to do the floor but that will wait till after lunch- house was really chilly so Mom is staying in her room where I can keep her warmer- she is watching Perry Mason reruns... thanks to the Hallmark channel - she likes most everything on there... and she can keep it loud without driving me crazy... sure wish she would wear her hearing aids to watch tv at least- but sis still hasn't found them.... I might get her to do it if she ever brings them over here. Well off to make some soup for lunch... then back to the messy house I have. Nana
I imagine that out in the real world, the roads are good. The hill coming home won't be clear for a while but I guess that's why I have all wheel drive now.... I'm leaving to see Cindy in about an hour....
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
we made a second trip to statesboro and i started feeling puny on the way back, so i'm in bed and the "boys" are working on the computers. my sil finally found a power supply for our desktop. i'm so happy
I am sorry you are feeling under the weather, Jiffy. I've got two sick boys here. Ted is not feeling too good with some gastric issues. And John is hanging in there just to annoy me ( he says).
