I'm such a silly gardening girl. I seem to go through spurts of checking in here & then not.

Where did the "thrifty" subforum go? I just can't find it. That was one of my favorite places to check for ideas. boohoo Please bring it back~~!!

We just started digging out the outline of our veggie garden yesterday. I took pictures, so we can show "before & after". We're going to try & grow our cucumbers & gourds up a rickety old (unsafe for people to climb) ladder. Have to go pick that up from a friend tonight.

I've got a lot of flower seeds to add to my soon to be perennial patio garden (have & will take more pictures of that) once the new plants arrive & are planted (ordered from Bluestone Nurseries, Madison, OH [shores of Lake Erie]). We also have a whole flower bed across the front of the house to fill. I'll take "before" pictures of that too.

I'm also hoping to get a garden plot @ a local church to grow pumpkins & watermelons. I'd rather not have to steer our Boys away from the vines that would be growing & crawling across the yard.

Good to be back. Sorry I was gone for so long.

Sarah

Welcome back Sarah! wavy

We still have that section, here you go: //www.agardenersforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/postlist/Board/16

Also, there is a display box at the bottom of that page, if you change it to show posts from all dates you will see a lot more posts show up! The ones you see now are only recent ones.

Hope you come back often now!

Hi-there everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome back! As you can see... I'm busy asking questions once again. One reason I love this forum... so much gardening knowledge in 1 place!! And... about so many different aspects of gardening.
