I figured it out now. If the calendar doesn't come up next to the store they are not participating. I've searched into Ohio even and can't find one that is. I'll find it somewhere.

That bites...mine isn't in on it then. And I put in Baltimore and not ONE store showed up, not that I'd go there--it's 3 hours away, but I can't believe not one store shows up for a big city like Baltimore. I have yet to see one calendar icon.
I would still call to make sure. Because we have webkinz selling stores here but they aren't coming up on the W day calendar. I want to go alone when I go. That is my 'me' time. Or take Ted. He is a joy to take places because he doesn't want everything.

I just caught myself looking at places an hour away. I guess it's really not worth driving that far and spending that much on gas for a free Webkinz. Kinda defeats the purpose if I have spend what 2 or 3 Webkinz would cost in gas to get there.
If you go to the locator and look in KY and find Louisville, you'll see how they have it set up with the calendar of events. Just to give you an idea. Unfortunately, Louisville is about an hour and a half away from me.

OK, I see. There is one store nearby with events but they are cheesy ones. None with free webkinz like Loz's. California just never got into it like other places. Which is kind of cool because the stuff is available longer on the shelves. But they don't get new stuff as quickly either.

I think all the participating stores are giving away a free one with $10 purchase to the first 500 people. That's the way I understood it. The activities are a bit cheesy. I would go if one of the stores that we normally go to were doing it, but I'm not going to go out of my way for it.

Loz, I think the dream o' meter bed (Science theme) will be in the c-shop at 10 pm. $4800 And then maybe the robo-handy table at the 11 pm hour. It doesn't look like you have that one either. $1600

tracy is just the opposite of Ted. she has about a 10 minute saturation point, then she's touching everything insight and whining that she wants this and that. i have walked away from her once, leaving her standing there flatfooted with nobody to whine at. it hasn't happened again though. and she knows when i say stop and give her The Look, she had better! makes dawdling over the webkinz miserable for both of us. so now we pre-select online and go to the store with a goal. and then she knows she can have ONE thing. this wouldn't work with Loz, i am afraid.
I saw that you guys were talking about the Webkinz Extravaganza Day. I was in a store last week to buy Tristen a Webkinz and they gave me a flyer because they are participating in it. I will take Tristen to it. They are also asking kids to draw pictures related to WW. They are having drawings every week and if your name gets drawn you get to spin a special wheel to win Webkinz. I think it is a good idea.
If you click on the main page advertising the event, it will take you to a locator. Type in country (I get this wrong half the time because I live in Cal so I hit Ca) then state then city. If it comes up wit a store with a calendar on the right, those are the participating stores. When you click on the calender it tells you days and times and what events are planned there.

Did anyone else get this month's potm? I just adopted my two. They turned out to be girls after all. I would never dye a dog and certainly not pink. Even Ted put the plushes back in the bag.
