It's funny but often when I go to IKEA I come home with a plant or two even though they are really known for their furniture. They had just gotten in a new shipment of cacti and succulents and I just had to get these flowering babies! With my luck, it will probably just flower this once, but it's still worth it I think.

thumbup i like it. we have an ikea warehouse here, but no ikea store touched i guess because we have the port here.

I bought an African Violet(in full bloom) at Wal-Mart and I killed it in about 2 weeks...'course when I bought it the temp was like 19 above outside....& my bedroom gets 0 direct sunlight. I have 2 14" fluorescent plant lights to supliment & my other house plants are doing just fine (philodendrons I think)....I'll post pics as soon as I can shrink 'em and upload 'em...

That is soooooooo cool Lynne grin ,, It will bloom again,,,, Next year,, But it will bloom again,, by that time you'll have to separate and repot a couple of those,, then you'll have lots of them!! thumbup

Beautiful! One of my cactus looks similar to yours but mine has never flowered. I hope mine will look like yours when it does. Thanks for sharing!
