Hi all, thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers(I know there was some sent) grin There had to be, the sun came out for our wedding day and it reached 52*F....it never gets that nice in April. The snow storm held off and only started at 4 am, we got home at 3:30 am.

We had a wonderful time, lots of pics were taken. Most by sis-in-law(DD drank a little too much and forgot to take pics of more than the other guys butts haha ). I'll get S-i-l's memory card later today. A fun time was had by all, in fact people are still dropping in to say that it was the best wedding party they had ever attended.

We had our gift opening yesterday....I was so amazed. Carol sent us the most beautiful wedding frame with a saying inside. I also brought Dianes gifts with us(everyone was asking what forum I belonged to lol )......pics later I promise kissie We recieved wedding albums, one engraved as well, a beautiful figurine, and a 5 ft solid wood curio cabinet from my best friend Randy. He said he knew I'd want to show off my wedding gifts... tears did fall.

We also recieved more money than I could ever imagine. People were way to generous. We will take a little honeymoon this fall. I promise more wedding details with the pics later. Today I have to go to the Government office to finish up paperwork and get my personal info all legally changed.

Thank you all again kissie

tamara: Thanks for telling us a bit about your Special day right away.

I am ever so happy that the weather was good for you. And yes, there were prayers for it to be so.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day and weekend for that matter. ---A curio cabinet--WOW !!! you have a very nice friend. And now you have the perfect place to put all your wedding items.---Did your champagne glasses survive the night??--they could be the perfect headliner. why

I am glad to hear people were "too generous' as you say---it lets you know that you have good friends and that you are loved, but we knew that anyway.

gosh--now you have to decide where to go on a honeymoon--decisions, decisions----- bop grin

Again--Congratulations !!!

I'm so happy it was a surprisingly clear day for you, Tamara. Mother Nature smiled on you. Congratulations!
Changing your name already? I wish mine had been that easy. I had to wait two weeks for the marriage certificate to be available. Then go stand in line at dmv to get my drivers license changed. (wait two weeks for that to get mailed). Then the bank. I'm still waiting for my passport, now. The vehicles were easy to switch around though. I still have to call social security and do that name change. And also a couple of insurance policies need name changes. What a pain it has been.
I hope your trip goes smoothly for you today. I will look forward to the pictures.

You sign two certificates here Tina, one they send in and the other is for you to get things changed.

One stop at SNB changed my drivers license and medicare card(you get that back in 5 minutes), one stop at EI changed my Social Insurance number(get that in 5 days~mailed). Still have to change my prescription coverage, bank accounts, mail address, car insurance, pension plans, land deeds and probably many more. I am trying to think of all what needs to be done..
