He He He........... you know, if I ever make the time to go in and set up some some cool signature and photo, I should get one of Jimmini Cricket. You gave me a good idea!

Isn't it funny how they have filled all around WV but there have been no sightings there yet.....none in Western MD yet either....
My neighbor was just telling me that she was putting her feeders up this weekend.
Another invitation to the anonymous readers to join us and tell us about your hummingbird sightings in your area! This sure is one popular topic, seems like there is always an anonymous person reading it when I check. We're really friendly here.
Yeah, but when we got to the hospital they were having a huge sale! My wife and I spent more than we should. We both bought rings. She got a Sterling Silver and Crystal Dolphin ring, I got a man's black enamel band with a silver tribal design on it. I also bought some 1 1/2 carat sterling silver and Amethyst cabochon ear studs for myself, done in an ancient, Bronze Age Mediterranean design. They had each item for only $6.00 each, with part of the proceeds going to benefit the Hospital. We got $60.00 worth of goodies for $18.00.

I have some blooming Aloe Vera that the hummers just love. I planted some Cypress Vine seed a few weeks back. It is up but no blooms yet. I hear they love this vine as well. Anyone know for sure?

My cypress vine arch is on the East side of the house. I think it will love the morning sun, but when late summer hits it may get more sun than it wants for an hour or two longer than it wants? I noticed the hummers come to my Lousiana Iris' also.

I have a favorite on the east side of the house , loaded with red salvias.. That is hummers delight early in the morning..
dodge, do you have up your feeders or is it too ealy for you? I've got up 3 and am putting up the 4th today. Didn't you have a million hummers last year. Was that you who posted that cool picture of all the birds?
Nope, it wasn't Barb that had that cool porch picture with all the hummers....it was someone else....I remember that picture, because I thought holy cow that's a ton of hummingbirds.
maybe someone will come along who remembers. That was the coolest picture. I'd like to see it again. Seems whomever it was lived close to the water or a big pond or lake. It's going to drive me nuts.
I patrol my yard on sentry duty several times a day making sure everything is OK. I also sit on my porch taking pictures when I am NOT on the computer. In spring and Summer I look for and monitor every nest I can.
