luv luv
Hd helped me put up my arches today .. He made me the white one, I bought the green on e serveral years ago, $5.00 and it had no hardware.. Hd found me some this week and it cost another 4..

The chimes on the green one is from one of the seeds swappers, and the Red spinner is one I purchased at an Indian festival in 2007.

I love those arches and I remember the spinner too. I've got one now thanks to my daughter, Ginger.

Do you leave the green one against the house? The white one looks big.

Everyone loves my spinner.

I figured you mind remember.
Actually the white one is smaller than the green one.

Yes I am leaving that on by the house, I want my cypress vines on that cause they went ape in the part shade.. Looks dumb but my pleasure.

The other is my orchard entrance.. That one is 3 pieces.. i just adore it there.

What color spinner did you get/

Thanks Loz,

I love the arches in that shape..
I could not wait to put up the spinner.. It was in the attic all winter. Now I should of given a close up of the chimes.. One of the ladys on seed swap gave me that, I am so proud . It matched the arch perfect.. Both green.

flowers make my summer .......
Loz dont you have a spinner yet?
The one I bought my sis , was not as cute.. It didnt have scallops on the ends. I didnt realize that till I hit home.. However she love it .

Loz,
I think I know what one your talking of.

But do show us sometime.. Nothing like a good spinner.. I am dedicated to Hummers.Notice?

Sheri,
I found JD at the OCtober fest here in our village. it cost 2 dollars less here.

I will watch aroung again for JD .. Do you have a Tractor Supply story around you? I know they are hot on JD .. But not sure if they have a spinner.

Thanks all.

I love Hummingbirds too Barb!!! Nothing like a nice spinner or some windchimes! Bamboo windchimes are my favorite---I like the soft noise they make.

Thanks Tam ?Juni. The white one is made of steel and doesnt rust away like the green one will. Cheap tin.. I went thru about 3 of those already.. I arent wild of the flat top ones.. However I did like the Oblique that Loz showed us.
You can make tose from copper tubing.. If you have access.
Use your imagination.

Barb, wax your green one with car wax...it won't rust that way. I use car wax on all my outdoor furniture.

I use it on plastic also. It stops the UV rays from eating it and making it weak.

That is some awesome scaffolding/arch, Sheri. I have a toprail gate thingy that is set up for the kids to climb up and down. They are getting a little old for it now. I might just grow something up it.

Sheri I love the spinner.. Yours ends are pointed.. bet it shimmers in the wind.
Wonder why they dont make those in a christmas design to hang out?
I'd get one.

I like your archway also ......Nice and sturdy fellow. Are you planting vines on it? I have all sorts of vines growing inside.. Some kind of sweet pea ones that seem real strong.

Junigirl.

Your could spray paint the gate any color you want to match the yard.. I did spray paint white one yesterday before I took the photo. Dollar can of paint.

Thanks for looking in on us...... clap bow

Well I've just joined the "spinners club" today! lol

I received 2 very nice small spinners from a friend today. They were a thank you for feeding their outdoor cat while they were away in Disney World over the kids' spring break a few weeks ago. This friend even picked out the 2 things I really like - hummingbirds and suns! And of course they are blue! To go with all the other blue things in my gardens! Myrna is such a sweetie, isn't she?
