Okay, tomorrow I go to the outlets....I'll have about $550--which, with me being the bargain queen I can get a TON of stuff for that. Last year I had the same amount and if you all remember I got lots. I've been saving since Christmas for this yearly trip. thumbup

Well here's my proposition. Something for fun.....Why don't you all take a guess at how many total items I will come home with, with that much money on me. Tomorrow when I'm out I'll buy a small general prize that the winner will get....Nothing huge, but it'll be better than nothing right? lol Just a little fun, and you all know that I'll at least be buying ONE thing now. haha

So just whoever is closest.......

If two people or more guess the same amount then I'll have a my dad flip a coin to see who wins..... thumbup This isn't a GH event...just something I'd like to do for someone, and I thought it might bring a little fun to the forum today and tomorrow while I'm out. flwr wavy

Thank you!

Since it's my actual BD tomorrow I have a plan.

When I get to the checkout and the person asks how I am, I'm going to say great! It's my BD today, does that mean I get a discount(joking around with them)....Hey I figure it can't hurt....some of them may pity me and give me a discount right? You never know.... haha

Thank you. kissie

I've been printing off coupons for different stores down there today too!

Lynne, I have two different Kirkland ones....one for $5 off $25 or more, and one for 20 percent off one item.

It says only one coupon per customer per day....BUT they change shifts while we are there.....so we go in there first...and then we go in there last....so I'll use both. lol

I also have one for Bed Bath & Beyond, for $10 off your purchase of $30 or more.

2 Liz Claiborne 20 percent off coupons and 2, 15 percent off coupons. thumbup

You never know! I guess we'll find out. lol By the time we leave we get VERY creative with our car packing.....Mom said she wanted new pillows, I said they are too big and take up too much room, she said if I have to I'll sit on them. haha

We usually have stuff packed up to the ceiling in the back of the car, and on half of the back seat.... lol

She could even put them on the floor and use them for a foot rest, if she had to, 'cause she might get something else she needs to sit on!! lol

I'm guessing 91 because that is loz's birthday added up - 4+11+76!

I'm so glad you got coupons to bring with you, especially to Kirklands as I know that is one of your favorite stores! Can't wait to see what you got - I will have to wait til later tonight, as I am taking Amy prom dress shopping after school - not my idea of fun times! We started yesterday and have 1 dress on hold in a store as they are not returnable.

Happy birthday again, loz!

I just counted and I'm surrounded by STUFF! Some of you were way off! haha I'm still a bargain shopper but I tend to treat myself just a little more on my birthday and buy things that I normally wouldn't----although most of it has to be on sale or clearance. lol I picked up a purse that was $49.99, normally $129.99 and I ALMOST bought it, it's my one true regret of the day---that I didn't splurge on it. rspb

And the winner is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NANA!!!!!! I had 64 items....counting every individual thing I bought today. Congratulations Nana--I'll PM you soon and make sure I have your correct address, and thank you everyone for playing.... I'm glad I started the game, you all are what drove me to continue my trip out today! kissie

Thank you! kissie Mel bought me a HUGE kneeling pad for gardening today. From Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It's GIGANTIC and really jelly like. I got a new welcome mat for the front door, a heavy rubber one and it's almost the same size as that! lol It's one of my favorite things I got today and I bought a lot of great stuff.....

I got my spice rack! It's the kind that you can adjust a little meter on each one and when you push a button it puts out a certain amount...like 1/4 tsp, etc. It can mount under the cabinet, and it was empty of spices, but that's ok. I picked out some of the ones I use the most.....half of the spices in a spice rack you buy, I have no clue what you use the spices for. haha
