I recieved a parcel with a beautiful wedding card and green and white KitchenAid tea towels and cloths. It was very nice of you kissie . I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Thank you very much.

Oh, by the way...shipping things to Canada in a box marked "Drugs~The Uncommon Drugstore" isn't a good idea, customs ragged it all, even opened the card lol

They completely tore apart the box...and re-taped it with weird red tape.

Oh, that is funny! Drugs! I love that!
A very nice gift. There is no such thing as too many tea towels. Sheri has excellent taste.

Tamara red tape• "TAMPER-RED is designed with a red colored bottom sheet to draw attention to tampering. It cannot be removed without detection. The oversized width (3.188"), prevents resealing with standard 3" tape. This "tamper resistant" feature helps protect products "
*(Got this from a Customs site that uses Red boxing tape!)*

shock Uh Oh Tamara nervous notme

Did they think I would be stupid enough to send drugs in a box marked "drugs" geesh - give this American some credit.

The post office never mentioned that when I mailed it. But the other day I sent netty some seeds and you would have thought I was sending drugs. The PO lady gave me a hard time and said she didn't think I could send seeds to Canada. I said "give it a try and we'll see what happens." I've sent seeds bunches of times and have never had a problem.

I had a friend who tried to send grits to Canada. It was a real fiasco.

Glad you like them.

Happy marriage; happy life.

Canada is allowed to grow hemp for fabric and rope production. But not on our side of the border. It is so sad.

Yup, you can buy hemp products in alot of stores...purses, clothes, etc....

My post office is really strick. They check a parcel before you send it...

I'm having trouble with my photo software, might be a day or so before the pic gets posted.

I saw Woody Harrelson on Johnny Carson one time in an entire suit made from hemp.

My PO people aren't strict at all....they don't even look inside....I just write what's in the box...heck I could make it up if I wanted.

Yep, probably. lol It's a small town here and they know me....

I don't know what's restricted. I've never had a hard time before. Even with the box marked "DRUGS." It was when I sent a plain envelope with seeds to Netty that I got the 3rd degree.

That list looks a lot like our list, Tamara. It is an impressive list of non-mailables.

That's not funny! I just spent an hour with two machine guns pointed at me, with a threat from a cop that he was going to shoot Shadow for doing his job! madd

sometimes it's hard to live with animals. people who deliver here just go nuts when they see my dogs, and they are mostly bark.

i had a water meter guy who would not read my meter til I posted a beware of dog sing, what difference did the sign make why he knew she was here

well, you start NOW telling DH how you need a new computer--this gives him time to get used to the idea. Then eventually you will get one.--of course if my DD had not of boutgh me a new one, I too would be in your boat, right here today-- rolz

so I for one, completely understand. What I could not figure out is, when I began having trouble with it, i deleted anything off the hard drive that I absolutely did not NEED--and it still was no faster--- why

I defragmented several time & everything i could think of----

I only use the computer to come on here...and we have to buy a new laptop for DD in June for college so I'll just get this one fixed as soon as the local repairman can come. he works two other jobs and is quite busy but I am on his repair list.

isn't it amazing that college students are required to have a laptop. What about people who are barely able to send the children to college. My daughter could not go to school without it.
