I recieved a parcel with a beautiful wedding card and green and white KitchenAid tea towels and cloths. It was very nice of you . I'll post a pic tomorrow.
Thank you very much.
Oh, by the way...shipping things to Canada in a box marked "Drugs~The Uncommon Drugstore" isn't a good idea, customs ragged it all, even opened the card

I bet they shook those tea towels out and everything.....
Yep since they were green they probably got the sniffing dogs out to see it if was made out of hemp! Tamara red tape⢠"TAMPER-RED is designed with a red colored bottom sheet to draw attention to tampering. It cannot be removed without detection. The oversized width (3.188"), prevents resealing with standard 3" tape. This "tamper resistant" feature helps protect products " *(Got this from a Customs site that uses Red boxing tape!)*
Uh Oh Tamara

Did they think I would be stupid enough to send drugs in a box marked "drugs" geesh - give this American some credit.
The post office never mentioned that when I mailed it. But the other day I sent netty some seeds and you would have thought I was sending drugs. The PO lady gave me a hard time and said she didn't think I could send seeds to Canada. I said "give it a try and we'll see what happens." I've sent seeds bunches of times and have never had a problem.
I had a friend who tried to send grits to Canada. It was a real fiasco.
I don't know what's restricted. I've never had a hard time before. Even with the box marked "DRUGS." It was when I sent a plain envelope with seeds to Netty that I got the 3rd degree.
That's not funny! I just spent an hour with two machine guns pointed at me, with a threat from a cop that he was going to shoot Shadow for doing his job!
why on earth would they do that to you? Is it just me or are the cops becoming more and more for a lack of a better word violent? I know the ones down here are on the news of them throughing that man outta his wheelchair! shame shame shame. I would file a complaint bill i really would!
pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)
...as soon as I can get my kodak software to work. I have been trying all week end. My pics from our gift opening is on the same memory card. My computer has had it....I keep getting "corrupt files or files invalid" on everything.

well, you start NOW telling DH how you need a new computer--this gives him time to get used to the idea. Then eventually you will get one.--of course if my DD had not of boutgh me a new one, I too would be in your boat, right here today--
so I for one, completely understand. What I could not figure out is, when I began having trouble with it, i deleted anything off the hard drive that I absolutely did not NEED--and it still was no faster---
I defragmented several time & everything i could think of----

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
I only use the computer to come on here...and we have to buy a new laptop for DD in June for college so I'll just get this one fixed as soon as the local repairman can come. he works two other jobs and is quite busy but I am on his repair list.

isn't it amazing that college students are required to have a laptop. What about people who are barely able to send the children to college. My daughter could not go to school without it.
