Sheri these pictures I have posted lately are front and back yard,, The front yard is just now starting to bloom Bluebonnets and roses are budding,, the back yard get more full sun so everything that has come up the last 2 months are now blooming,, I will give it a go tomorrow at different angles I'd have to take several pic's to get it all,, Remember when it gets very hot here most flowers I have now will be dying back and I'll be enjoying all of yours and those up north, ! I'll just start a different thread, for the Yard pictures!

I don't know what this white and purple lone flower is,, but I like it maybe maybe more will pop up I've this dianthus here for 4 years,, so I haven't planted anything seeds here I guess the wind just blew it in,??
i believe it's called baby blue eyes or five spot (Nemophila pedunculata)

Yessssssssss Nemophila maculata Five spot,, That's exactly what it is,, Someone gave me seeds a couple of years ago and nothing ever grew,, Strange tho I had planted them in the corner opposite the dianthus,, I wonder why now? Odd isn't it?? and Only one,, but Finally I got one of them!! Thanks Kenny!!

Lynne, I may be wrong but I think you sent me some narcissus bulbs that I put in pots and have blooming right now. Your daffs are so pretty but yellow is my favorite color.
Isn't nature wonderful. I love the colors. I think my ruffled tulip looks like some sort of bird with all the different colors in it. And I didn't realize the white azalea had pink in it until I saw the picture. And it looks like Lynne's buttercups are different shades of yellow while Loz's daffodils are one color. Lynne, one thing I noticed is that the buttercups (that's what I call the shape of yours) smell good and the other daffs don't have a smell.
Interesting Sheri - I've not noticed a fragrance, but I can't bend down to smell them for a few more days.
I love your azaleas - I either love them, or dislike them strongly, and yours are ones that I really do like! And your pansies are very pretty too - clean and fresh looking.
I don't think I was the one to send you the narcissis Sheri - I don't recall doing that?
Loz - I have not seen double daffodils - they are really pretty, and very different looking!
The front of my parents' house is planted with overgrown azaleas - I grew up with them and they have never been pruned back, so they really should be taken out now. They bloom red, which is not a color I prefer in flowers, so they are the ones I do not like at all.
I had minor surgery on something on my leg just below the knee last Wednesday and it seems that I have been doing too much, as it keeps bleeding a bit each day. So I have to take it easier and try to stay out of the gardens for a few more days - it's so hard to do now that things are finally greening up around here!
Don bought me this peace lily for Valentine's Day this year and it is still blooming strong - the longest I've ever had one bloom for me. The flowers are so crisp and clean looking!
those are beautiful Shei, we have a frost warnning for tonight, I think everything is between blooms right now except the grape hyacinths on and my culibines are getting ready to bloom you think they'll be okay?

Nothing blooming here in the ground, but I saw a flower bud on one of my tulips. I cut some forsythia from my neighbours to give to my teacher (critical black thumb-er lol) and the ones I have inside have been in bloom for a week now (they sure keep well as cut flowers). The crocus and snowdrops are almost done blooming

there's a yard where no one lives and every year when the daff's bloom I stop with a olive jar (empty, use it cause it's tall like a vase) and pick a huge handful for ashley's teacher

I'd be stopping with a shovel

I got my q-tip out last year when the tree bloomed& played 'bee'--but nothing happenmed---perhaps it was the wrong time of year, or perhaps i did it wrong---then again it may not be a self polinator---.
But thannks emde for the answer.
