Just wondering how you are all doing on quitting smoking??? I haven't seen any threads about it and I was wondering. So, consider this the first check up from your support group. I know you all can do it!!

I'm going to try Chantix, working up the courage to call the doc, but I keep stalling. Can you believe I am petrified to quit?

Cindy - I'm sorry for the reason you had to quit, but I'm so glad that you have - when you recover from all your surgeries you will see how much more energy you have without smoking. And just think of all the plants you can get with the money you save!

That goes for everyone who quits - the cost really adds up, doesn't it?!?
I am very proud of all of you who take this on. Never having been a smoker, I don't know how hard it is first hand, but I did see my parents both quit cold turkey when my mom had a heart problem when I was very young. That was enough for me to never even have tried a single smoke.

I'm glad that Bill has cut down by default. Hopefully he can stop altogether now that the gardening season is fully in gear.

my ex in laws both quit the day I told them I was pregnant with my oldest daughter.

I quit 25 years ago. Never have wanted one since the day I quit.

I have never smoked.
DH did, but the day our oldest ask him why he smoked, (she was like 2 yrs old) is the day he quit. he has not picked up one since, but he often says it would be very easy to do.

DD is 28 yrs old.
