Heck no. I'm not planting okra but the weather should be warm enough by now;it's warm here in CA.
Waiting for fall...

Cricket...Okra is one of the few veggies that thrives in the hottest weather. We're a bit late planting it here in Oklahoma, only because we could have started sooner. We'll be planting it out this week and next, and even if we planted as late as late May, we'd surely get several weeks of okra, if not a month or 2. It's not late for anyone to plant regardless of region.
Last year, we were picking 5 to 10 pounds a week for a couple of months. My wife batters it and freezes it in vacuum sealed bags, and we eat fried okra during the winter. We planted a big "block" of okra 4 feet across and 10 feet long and had all we could eat and freeze.
