Anyone know anything about these? I took my sweet time getting to Lowes to get my plants this year and they were sold out of 'my usual'. They look (from the tag)like a skinny bell pepper. I read they are sweet and get sweeter as they rippen. I'm looking forward to doing something with them. what do yall do with them? Maybe they'd be good in the green salsa you make with tomatillos?

last year I grew cowhorn peppers for the first time. I loved these! The ends taste a lot like the top of a green onion, and when you get closer to the top (or stem part) they are hot, like a 'peno. Do you cook? I loved cooking with these...they are a great blend of onion/pepper taste. (great in salsa)

I always have a plant or two or three of Gypsy pepper. They are pretty and don't get as large as bell peppers. Also the walls are thinner and they really are a lot sweeter than even red bell peppers.

Ways I use them:
cut up in salad
on a veggie tray with dip
stuffed and fried, grilled or roasted
as part of the pepper mixture in pepper jelly
pickled
sautéed with a little onion and garlic as a garnish for fish

Endless possibilities.
