the lawnmower stirred up some flying ants or termites on Saturday. within minutes there were 8 or more (they were too fast to count) dragon flys swarming. I've never seen so many dragon flies all in one place and on such a mission. ha ha. I sat on the porch and wathced them nab those ants right out of the air. I knew they were mighting preditors, but this was unbelievable to see first hand! you could even occasionally HEAR them as they hit those ants. wish I could have gotten some pic's, but it was just too an amazing of a site to leave and get the camera.
has anyone else seen some amazing nature lately?
