I saw the cuttest thing this morning. Underneath the landlords truck was a little sparrow doing the moonwalk. He'd hop forward and then scoot back three paces and then hop forward again. It was so cute. I didn't see another sparrow around so I'm assuming maybe he was just practicing some of his mating dance?

Anyone know anything about this?

Birds will do that to dig up seeds, insects, grit, dust. When hopping backwards they drag their feet to stir up the soil.

Also Sparrows do this dance just prior to pecking the eyes out of every human that sees them do this dance. You only get to see this dance ONCE in your life, and then you never see anything again.
