Cindy, it warms my heart to know that you are doing so well and healing. And the OK to take a bath must have been heaven. I love bath soaks, don't think I could live without them. I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and even though I'm not really online much anymore, I have this topic emailed to myself so I can still keep up with you. Keep getting better and we'll meet again soon. Take care. :ding:
I took you to church again last nite, said the rosary with you.
And praying today......FOr your progess to continue. Just go slower and watch the hills and rocks.....We care.
Forgot , After church last nite, the priest gave us ladies a ring Rosary for the month of May........Month of celebrating The Blessed Virgin mary.. i wore mine home on my finger.. You can use it while driving.. That was a nice reward on its own , for me.
Yikes! I haven't read in this topic lately, Cindy, don't be falling down! (Stay away from ponds especially!) Tamara, first I'd heard of your troubles, I'll go back and read to see what happened...gee whiz, why does bad stuff happen to good people.
No kidding....we use handcuffs, not sticky old duct tape.
The last time I fell (Saturday) was outside. I was trying to step over a tree that Bill had been working on chopping apart...I stepped on a piece of it and it rolled down the hill, which made me fall forward over the big pile of wood. My muscles are so weak it took me forever to get up...couldn't call for Bill because he was on the mower and I was NOT supposed to be where I was.
Did you HEAR what you just said to us! You weren't supposed to be where you were! That's why you weren't supposed to be there......that sounded really painful and bad....you rolling down the hill.
--and now that I think of it, could you have hurt yourself when you fell the other day???
I hurt myself when I fell (on the tree Bill had chopped up) but it wouldn't have been so bad if I could have gotten up. I fell several more times while trying to get on my feet.
Trust me...I have taken it easy ever since that happened...and will continue to do so. I want to get better...
My Goodness Cindy!! Continued Prayers for you my Friend!

OK, I may have been wrong in my opinion in another thread around here somewhere. Just maybe a few helium balloons attached directly to Cindy wouldn't be such a bad thing. Just enough to keep her 'light' on her feet. Take care, my friend.

Cindy Sue Lou Bob George Luke!!! PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL - or you'll have a lot of SPLAINING to do to all of us here in the world watching out for you!!!
I haven't been on the site for a few days because the internet has been out.
If you all could say a little prayer for me tonight I would appreciate it...and I will let you know tomorrow when I get back from the surgeon if everything is OK.
Thank you...
Everyday I pray for you Cindy!

I answered this in another topic (oops...) so I will copy/paste it here...
Quote
I didn't go today... Here's the deal...I went to my regular (not my surgeon) doctor last week he took some blood and said someone would call me with the results...he took the blood because he said I looked anemic.
In the meantime a place inside me has been hurting worse everyday...and I have been getting worried about it.
So...the doctor called last night and said he was going through his test results and my white count was up enough to be alarmed that I had an infection somewhere and told me I needed to see my surgeon pronto.
So...tomorrow I go to the surgeon and hopefully will not end up back in the hospital.

Cindy, my thoughts and prayers are still with you.. I was popping in to look something up and figured I'd stop in to see how you were coming along. *positive energy* for you as much as possible.
