We got Maddie a new hat now that the weather is getting nice and she'll be outside more. We took this picture right before we went to the park with her for the first time (she wasn't sure about the swing). Enjoy!

Jenn,
She is such a cutie- and that hat is darling- we have lots of hats too for the boys- especially for the redheads - I counted 15 here at my house- course a couple were baby hats they outgrew already but rest fit one or the other of them... hats and sunscreen are used a lot around here--
Bet she decides she likes the swing eventually... we have a swing set in our backyard and now I see the boys on top of it half the time, they are all monkeys....

I liked all of the colors on the hat.....and it is reversible also! The underside is a hot pink kind of color. She has another hat, but it is too small for her now. This one should last us through the summer. I was pretty picky about the hat...I wanted something that would cover her neck and also her face because she is soo fair-skinned. Stephen didn't even fight me too much on the cost....$10. We had gone into the Baby Gap to see what kind of stuff they had and it was either that hat or a dress that cost more. lol I'm an expert negotiator! ...he didn't even know that I didn't really like the dress that I was using as the bargaining chip!!

I soo can't wait for the yard sales to start up round here! Maddie is running out of clothes that fit her and I don't want to spend the money for full priced clothes!....yes, I am a cheap, cheap person! lol....but I just don't see the sense in spending $20 on a pair of pants that are only going to fit her for 3-4 months!!! I don't even spend $20 on a pair of pants for myself!!!

That is a pretty and happy lookin baby.

Love the hat. I did garage sales all the time for mine . Nothing wrong with saving money.
THey grow so fast it is a pity.

When I buy for my grandaughter, I just leave all tags attached and give them the slip , if it is too small or unwanted, they can return it. Must take it all back, I never see her wear any of it......LOL

She's mainly wearing 9-12 month stuff now....which is about right since she'll be 11 months in like 2 weeks.
