We have two ornamental grasses, they aren't the huge kind, no flowers or shoots or anything. We didn't cut them back last fall, this is our first year here and first year having them. Right now they are half green and half brown, the same way they have looked since last year. Shoud we mow them down or do we just leave them alone?

Thanks!

To get rid of the winter killed top growth and to simply make them look nicer, cut them back to about 4 inches and you'll soon get new green growth.
