I got 2 miniature rose bush plants from my Great Aunt a few weeks ago. I was hoping someone would be able to tell me when I could plant them in the ground in zone 7. Thanks for helping!

I have two mini roses that are in the ground and they come back every year but they are not from the florist....they came from a gardening center.

that's weird I have one that does really good, and it went past being a mini rose it's about 2 and 1/2 foot tall now but it still pouts out the tiny roses.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

I had some mini roses... they died -_- Dunno what killed the first one, but the second one had spider mites. It was doing very well before I left for vacation a few weeks ago and I left it in the care of my mother, and when I got back she said it had died -_- Im guessing she didnt care for it the way it needed >.>
Anyhoo..... I usually put all ym roses in pots, cause its easier to care for them. You can take em in when it freezes, and you dont have to worry about ammending soil ;D

MY GIRLS BOUGHT ME A MINI rose BUSH LAST SUMMER/FALL
IT WENT STRAIGHT IN THE GROUND AND WHEN WINTER CAME I LAYERED PINE STRAW ROUND THE BASE SO THE ROOTS WOULD STAY A LIL WARM AND THE LEAVES TURNED A BLOOD RED N I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA DIE BUT COME SUNSHINE N WARM WEATHER IT PERKED UP AND BLOOMED FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR JUST 2 WEEKS AGO 4 flowers BRIGHT N BEAUTIFULLY RED!!
THE LEAVES ARE BACK AT GREEN N ITS DOING GREAT!!
IM IN zone 8 BY THE WAY, IN zone 7 I DUNNO WHAT WOULD HAPPEN BUT IF YOU WANNA TAKE A CHANCE PLANT IT IN THE GROUND, N JUST MULLCH IT OR CAP IT WHEN COLD COMES, KEEP IT MOIST WHEN THE SUN IS OUT, N WAIT N SEE COME spring WHAT IT DOES.
I HAVE TO LEARN THE HARD WAY ALOT N USUALLY THE OUTCOME IS GREAT!!
BEST WISHES FOR UR LIL ROSIES
